Finally, Some Damned Recognition

Go, me!

It's rare that I get proper recognition for this little blog project of mine.

But remember last week or so when that Internations Top Expat Blog badge appeared in the sidebar? I do, because I put it there. It's a real thing, that badge. And the post I wrote for them is up, complete with a picture of me because I know you've all been dying to know what I look like.

Those of you who don't already know me, that is.

Internations Featured Blog. Check me out!

Well, congratulations! I could only read snips of the interview because I didn't want to join the Internations. You are really special, Sarah. An outstanding Metzker, leading life her way. I'm so proud of you. Love, Aunt Sis

Yay you! That is awesome.

Thanks!

I wasn't sure if it was going to make you join their site to read it, but I thought I'd give it a go...

Yay Sarah!

Well done! I can't look at it because their site appears to be down at the moment.

They contacted me too but I declined because I don't want my real name or a photo appearing anywhere else...just in case my FIL is watching..because then I wouldn't be able to write horrible things about him if he discovered my blog :-))

Thanks!

I've never actually used my name and photo connected with the blog. Paranoid, I guess, maybe because of the boy. But I sort of decided to give up on that.

If you can believe it, I go pretty easy on the MIL, in case my brother-in-law ends up reading. He's the only one in the family who reads English well and reads stuff on the Internet regularly. He's also the one in the family I least want to upset, because he's so sweet.

Ayak, does your FIL read English?

Yes he does read English...very well unfortunately so I have to be careful.

Dare I ask how you imagined me?
